Pull Weeds and Clean Out Debris

It is important to prepare your garden for new plants by pulling out any weeds that could kill them. Another perk to pulling out weeds is that it will dramatically improve the aesthetics of your at home garden center. Remove old mulch and clean out various debris for a fresh start.

Prepare Soil

Till and turn your old soil to loosen it up and allow air and water to better permeate below. Ideally, you want to work the soil to a depth of 12 - 14 inches.

Prune
